Irena Sendler, ‘96 – narrowly averted from stealing Al Gores Nobel Prize

Irena Sendler died on May 12, 2008 at the age of 96.  A polish social worker when the Nazis invaded Poland in 1939, Irena rescued Jewish Children from the Ghetto with backhanded anti-authority tactics.
