With an imminent landslide defeat on the horizon, what this column is really about is some advice for Republicans.  I have to mention the sad predictions, while placing them in context with the Mahoney scandal down in the congressional district lost by Republicans during the Foley scandal that led to the resignation of the Speaker of the House, and the Democrat take over of the Congress and the Senate.

First, the Foley scandal.  A supposedly gay dude was texting pages, and since he was a Republican, the Republican Speaker of the House had to resign.  So did Foley.  How does that work?  Well before I explain that, let’s look at the Mahoney scandal.

A Democrat named Mahoney has a mistress, ala John Edwards.  He fires her and pays her $ 130,000 in hush money. Mahoney still might retain his seat, and Nancy Pelosi is not going to resign over this. Well then one would think, the Foley thing must be much worse.

If Foley were a Democrat, being gay would put him in leadership, like Barney Frank.  But since he was a Republican, he had to, by the morals of the media, be run out of town, as well as Dennis Hastert, for allowing the Republican party to have a child – texter in their midst.  (I thought that almost all texting had to be from one child to another – regardless of age)  This is where I see a serious flaw in the thinkings of what is joy, happiness and satisfaction for the conservative movement.

On the brink of being told that I must forgo my earnings in higher taxes, to ’spread the wealth around’, it strikes me that the moral high ground is causing a lot of broken right wings – falling off that high ground.  You see, I am tired of being told that when I grumble about being forced to pay more, for someone else’s idea of change, I am a racist.  Yet if I insist that you should not be allowed to smoke pot in the public park, in front of my children, I am a racist, sexist, bigot, homophobe, right wing crackpot, Bush loving asshole.

Cool, I’m an asshole, but when you steal my money in taxes to spend as you Democrats see fit, you are kind and caring liberals.  You have ruined the Black Family (since the advent of LBJ style welfare, illegitimate black children have risen from less than 10 percent to more than 70 percent), you pay people to sit on there asses, you want to destroy our defenses because war is not the answer, and you drive jobs out of America with your high corporate taxation and punishing regulation.  Just don’t punish anyone for being gay, unless they are a republican.
