A college student accused of slashing a taxi driver because he is a Muslim was moved from jail to a psychiatric ward, corrections officials said Friday.

Michael Enright, 21, of Brewster, N.Y., was accused of using a folding knife to slash the face and neck of the driver, Ahmed H. Sharif, an immigrant from Bangladesh, on Tuesday night after asking whether he’s a Muslim. Enright was moved from the Rikers Island jail to Bellevue Hospital on Thursday night, said Correction Department spokesman Stephen Morello.

Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said authorities see the attack as an isolated incident rather than evidence of a trend in anti-Muslim crimes.

So three New York families are on the street due to Charlie Rangel, Democrat New York.

Rangel allegedly has failed to disclose assets and income under rules that no other congressman, since maybe William Jefferson, Democrat, New Orleans, has flipped the bird to. Will the ethics committee expel Charlie Rangel? Bet against it. The Democrats are in control.

Now without doubt, some killers do start by killing animals, but the lack of press questioning here is stunning. I cannot find, at ABC, NBC, CBS, the New York Times, or the AP a single mention of the falseness of this assertion. Except perhaps in the case of his third and final fatality, a lobbyist, did he ever kill animals. Oh I shouldn’t have said that!

Now if Obama had lied like this I would understand the willing and compliant pro Washington DC main stream media covering for him. But this is a Republican! But this is also an example where, despite the fact that legislation of this sort is strictly prohibited by our constitution from being enacted in Washington DC, there they go again.
